Manzanillo Port, located on the Pacific coast of Mexico, is one of the busiest seaports in the country and ranks as the fourth largest port in North America. The port primarily handles containerized cargo, with a capacity to handle over two million TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) annually. It is also a major center for automobile imports and exports, as well as for handling bulk cargo such as liquid chemicals, petroleum products, and grains. The port has modern facilities and equipment, including a deepwater port capable of accommodating large container ships, and is strategically positioned to serve the west coast of Mexico and the southwest United States. Manzanillo Port is operated by Grupo Manzanillo, a leading logistics and transportation company in Mexico.
